The Computer Lab with internet facility is made available for the students and teachers. Through various departments, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are executed to help the students to build their personalities. Decentralization of the authorities is the policy statement of Leadership.

The various Committees and Associations are formulated to carry out co-curricular and extra-curricular activities under the leadership of the principal to fulfill the stated mission of the institution. Our vision for the future is to prepare our students to face the challenges of globalization and to enhance research culture and computer culture.

Our Objectives

  • Overall personality development of the students through extracurricular activities.
  • To educate and train the students in self-help and self-employment.
  • To insure and inculcate discipline in the students.
  • To guide the students for opportunities in various fields and sectors.

As per every year’s practices at beginning of the academic year, new committees are constructed under the guidance of the Principal. College Development Committee (CDC) and Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) remain intact with the change of student representative. The Principal, Vice-Principal, and IQAC coordinator decide the policies of decentralization and allow the work to various committees. Decentralization and participative management are seen throughout the year. Two practices of decentralization and participative management are as follows.

A) Academic work is supervised throughout by IQAC. Coordinators and chairmen of committees work under the guidance of the Principal. He keeps the regular follow-up. The principal checks the daily teaching diaries and monthly progress reports; gives suggestions for improvement. The academic calendar is prepared and followed by teachers from all departments. The committee coordinators decide the work of the Committee and assign the work, to members.

B) The entire office work is supervised by the office head clerk. All office work is divided into various sections as admission, scholarship, payments, fees, exam forms, bonafide certificates, leaving certificates, etc. regarding mobilization and utilization of resources and funds from UGC, the University, and other agencies.

The college and management work together throughout the academic year. Management always supports tree plantation, organizing camps like blood donation and annual gatherings. It is seen in the anniversary of the Late MLA Shri Sampatrao Mane on 1st Oct. 2018. Even On 21st and 22nd December 2019, the 36th Annual Conference of Shivaji University Economics Association Kolhapur was conducted by the Department of Economics in the college. All the tasks like food arrangements, registration arrangements, stage management, accommodation arrangements, etc. were divided among all the employees and the conference was successfully conducted.
